Faculty member Marie-Pierre Granger, together with Emmanuel Guinchard (Northumbria University), recently published a book entitled The New EU Judiciary – An Analysis of Current Judicial reforms (Kluwer law International, The Netherlands, 2018).

IR department alumnus Dr Robert Kokalj to serve as the Ambassador of Slovenia to Hungary

Dr Robert Kokalj (IRES ‘96) has been appointed as a new Ambassador of Slovenia to Hungary. During his term in Hungary, Ambassador Kokalj will pay special attention to infrastructure and energy connectivity projects between Slovenia and Hungary. Previously Dr Kokalj served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Slovenia in Slovakia, Head of the Economic Diplomacy Division of MFA of Slovenia among other positions.

IR students at Allianz Summer Academy

Between 29 July and 2 August 2017, five CEU students attended the Allianz Summer Academy on Europe (ASA) a program organised and sponsored by the Allianz Cultural Foundation, bringing together students from five European universities to debate current European issues and develop policy recommendations for the future of Europe.
