Paul Roe to take over as Co-ordinating Editor of the Journal of International Relations and Development

December 7, 2015
In 2016, Paul Roe, Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations, will take over as Co-ordinating Editor of the Journal of International Relations and Development (JIRD).

JIRD has increasingly become one of the leading peer-reviewed journals in the fields of International Relations, International Political Economy, and Security Studies. Founded in the late 1990s as the official journal of the Central and East European International Studies Association (CEEISA), JIRD is very much a 'global journal with regional roots'; while attracting many leading, international scholars, JIRD also seeks to promote the work of specifically young academics from the CEE region.

Professor Roe will head an editorial team which includes Professor Dorothe Bohle, from CEU's Political Science Department, as well as other scholars from Hungary, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
