Erzsébet Strausz (MA 2007/08) has won the 2017 Teaching Excellence Prize of the British International Studies Association (BISA), after being awarded the Michael Nicholson Thesis Prize, also by BISA, in 2012.
The aim of the award is to recognise individual staff or teams of staff who have contributed to the positive learning experience of students in International Studies, to raise the profile of learning and teaching activity in International Studies in the higher education sector, and to contribute to the dissemination of best practice in teaching and learning among BISA members.
Erzsébet is currently assistant professor at the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. While at CEU, she has received an outstanding academic achievement award from the department of International Relations.
