Márton Benedek, PhD, is currently on leave from the European Commission and is preparing Együtt 2014’s campaign for the upcoming elections to the European Parliament. He led the European Commission’s visa liberalization dialogue with Kosovo and oversaw rule of law reforms in the Western Balkans, advised President Barroso on Kosovo’s final status process and coordinated the European Union’s internal security policies during Hungary’s EU Council Presidency. He also worked for the European Parliament’s trade committee and Oxford Analytica. He holds a D.Phil. in International Relations and an M.Phil. in European Politics from Oxford University, an M.A. in Political Science from the CEU and a B.Sc. in International Relations from the LSE.
